Hi friends and family,

Remember that guitar with the broken neck . . . Drum roll , please . . . . . . . . Presenting the now repaired guitar . . . Yaaaaaaayyyyyyy!

This was a brand new guitar sold by the manufacturer and it was damaged during shipping. I bought it for a decent price. Enough to make a profit even though I had to buy some supplies and put some hours of labor on it.

I finished the neck repair and repainted the neck at the break and surrounding neck areas. I then reshaped the bone nut (the white piece at the top of the neck that the strings run through before going to the tuners) which was square, had sharp edges and the strings sat too far into the slots. The nut now is professionally shaped. Then I filed the fret ends which stuck out from the fretboard a bit and felt sharp, just a little bit but, I like the frets to be practically invisible to the touch on the ends. I also polished the frets and adjusted the neck, bridge and tailpiece then set the intonation. The guitar plays very nicely!

This is a Rock and Roll guitar! I believe each instrument has its own idea what it wants to play and sound like. When playing this guitar, it kept wanting to play Bachman-Turner Overdrive, Deep Purple and AC/DC! It really rocks!!!

I wasn’t able to get all of the neck stained the proper color. A couple of light colored marks insisted on staying visible. But, I believe this adds character to this awesome guitar. It will never break in the same spot, again, or anywhere near it, with all the reinforcement I put into the repair. The neck is perfectly smooth including over the repaired spot. I think I’ll put in my sales ad “Awesome Rock and Roll Guitar_Character Already Established!”, or something like that.

This Guitar lists for $1299.99. I will be asking $600.00 for it on Ebay. I think that’s a reasonable price for such a cool and playable guitar . . .

So . . . Without further ado . . . ! Appropriately, like the Phoenix . . . I present the resurrected, formerly broken-necked guitar!!!!!!!!

Love to all,
