Hey friends and family!!!! I’m back!!!

I’ve been rehearsing with and will be playing bass with The Juke Dukes Saturday, Nov. 12th, 2022! This is a party band. We play blues and rock. The harmonica player/band leader, Hal Iwan, plays a mean harp. The drummer Dave Kosloski is fun to play with, and we work well together. And the guitar player, Ken Payne, is the not-so-little little brother of the legendary pianist Bob Payne who was instrumental in my switch from playing guitar to playing bass in 1970. Oh! Ken is also a very good guitar player. Hal, Ken, and I share the vocals.

I’ll be playing my Electric Upright Bass along with the latest David T Bass Guitar. I get to do lots of walking on the bass with this music . . . . Woohoo!!!!!!

The Juke Dukes have been active for years, and I’m proud to be holding down the low end. This is our first gig since Covid closed things down, so come on down and check us out!

Thanks for reading. The following words should go without saying, but I will be wearing a mask due to health considerations . . . But not all the time, of course. I will try to stay safe while enjoying friends and family, song, and drink.

Please, please, stay safe. Wear a mask when appropriate. Don’t take any chances with your health and life. And above all, the health and lives of your friends and loved ones. Please be thoughtful about when to wear a mask or not and GET THE COVID-19 VACCINE OR SPEAK TO YOUR DOCTOR IF YOU BELIEVE YOU SHOULDN’T FOR HEALTH REASONS . . .

Love to all,

David T

    1. I will post any new gigs as we get them. This one at The Firehouse is like most clubs nowadays; we need to have as many butts in the seats as possible to get return dates. The bar owner teased us with a monthly gig if we do well.
Thanks for the reply, Dave. Looking forward to seeing you again.

  1. Very, very well said brother Dave!! So glad that you’re able to get back to doing what you love!!! Love you. Big bro.
