Hi friends and family,
Sue and I are packing and getting ready for our fourth cruise with this particular company. Well . . . Sue’s doing most of the packing while I get my basses prepared for transport and ready to showcase on the cruise during the Pro-Am Jams that I plan to participate in as much as possible.
I’m bringing my new prototype 5-string Electric Bass and my 5-string NS WAV-5 Electric Upright Bass. I plan to network like crazy as I will be retiring from my day-gig in February, I hope. We’re waiting on Social Security to approve me starting S.S. in February.
The basses should help me to stand out as the prototype is an unusual design and sounds fantastic. The Electric Upright Bass should also turn heads as nobody ever uses those on the cruise except for the occasional bass player using one in the paid entertainment.

Here are some pictures:

We may pay extra for rudimentary internet aboard the ship. If so, I will do some posts during the cruise.

Thanks for reading,

Love to all,

David T

The 5-String Bass Prototype fits in my heavy-duty Flight Case with room to spare . . . I’ll fill it up!
The NS Design Wav5 Electric Upright Bass . . . This will be fun and showcase my versatility . . . Woohoo!
This is my original design bass. Semi-Hollow with versatile electronics
The very cool “The Bass Mute” By Ellio Martinez. I want to install these on all my David T Design basses if Ellio will start producing more. They’re hard to purchase. Production problems, supposedly.
I may carry-on this bass case, empty if they let me. I will use it to transport the prototype around the ship. It’s a nice case.
